Women Talking Social Campaign
Do nothing, stay and fight, or leave.
In 2010, the women of an isolated religious community grapple with reconciling a brutal reality with their faith. For years, the men have occasionally drugged the women and then raped them. The truth comes out and the women talk about their new situation.
Focusing on women’s voices and film's powerful imagery, I created a visual narrative that’s rooted in contemporary aspects of this story. Design sourced both film’s zeitgeist and handdrawn elements from within the film. The focus stayed on relaying women's conversations directly to the audience through short form videos and graphics.

The objective of the campaign was to promote the film and reach audiences across target ages, through various social channels and playing into different social trends. Executing a few concepts, including videos of talent inviting audience to participate in the discussion, and BookTok videos - letting talent read pages from the original book and pairing it with corresponding scenes from the film.

I’ve put together various CTA graphics, cinemagraphs and videos to promote the upcoming release date, and create buzz around the film prior to awards season.
